Gus Hansen at the World Poker Tour
Gus Hansen's latest success at the WPT was a second place finish to well knownw professional poker player David Chui. Chui was not the least bit intimidated by Gus Hansen even as the heads-up battles convened with Chui having 4 million in chips to Gus' 23 million!
David Chui played it right and tight as Gus Hansen eliminated 3 of the player at the final table all by himself sending home Jeff King, Tommy Le and Cory Carroll, the latter of which propeeled Gus to over 20 million and chips where at that point he seemed unbeatable.
Chiu takes home 3.4 million for his astonishing win, and Gus Hansen takes home 1.7 million for his respecatable, but regrettable second place finish.
Gus Hansen has previously won 2 World Poker Tour titles and helped usher in poker's worldwide popularity with his aggressive style of play.
